Gluten-free Christmas cake... but how does it taste? Amazingly!

The gluten free version of our traditional Christmas cake is all but identical in taste – no need to get two cakes, no-one will notice the difference! Every slice is mouth-wateringly moist, moreish, and fruity. Juicy cherries, golden sultanas, zesty citrus, apricots, and dates, infused with rum and boiled with sugar and mixed spices until they are plump, succulent, and bursting with the flavour before being baked to perfection.

Please note - our gluten free fruit cakes are made in a bakery where regular cakes with gluten are also baked.

About Grandpa's

Our Grandpa Stuart’s cherished recipe is the stuff of (local) legend. What began as a first prize in the village fete baking competition has evolved into a small batch Suffolk bakery, producing Grandpa’s moist and tender fruit cake just like the day he first created the recipe.
