Shipping Policy

All Grandpa’s Cakes products are handmade to order and carefully packaged for safe delivery.

UK Delivery

Most UK orders are sent using tracked courier services. Delivery times vary depending on the product ordered and the requested dispatch date.

Wedding cakes and celebration cakes are typically dispatched in advance of the event date to allow sufficient time for storage, preparation, and decoration if required.

European & International Delivery

European deliveries are sent using tracked courier services. International shipping charges include specialist packaging, customs documentation, and premium handling to help ensure cakes arrive safely during transit.

Customers outside the UK may occasionally experience customs processing delays which are outside our control.

For larger international cake orders, additional courier charges may occasionally apply depending on combined parcel size and destination. We will always contact you before dispatch if this affects your order.

Delivery Dates

Requested delivery dates are treated as preferred delivery dates rather than guaranteed delivery dates, although every effort is made to meet them.

Customers are encouraged to order well in advance for weddings, celebrations, and seasonal occasions.

Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery addresses are correct at the time of ordering. Grandpa’s Cakes cannot accept responsibility for delays or losses caused by incorrect delivery information.
