About Grandpa's

Our Grandpa Stuart’s cherished recipe is the stuff of (local) legend. What began as a first prize in the village fete baking competition has evolved into a small batch Suffolk bakery, producing Grandpa’s moist and tender fruit cake just like the day he first created the recipe.

Amazing Fruit Cake

I’d been looking for a decent fruit cake for my elderly mother as her usual supplier has gone out of business. It took quite a while to find a local supplier that actually makes fruit cake as most only supply sponge type cakes. I was delighted to find Grandpa’s Cakes was just a few miles away. The cake itself is moist, with plenty of succulent fruits and has a deep, treacly taste that lingers. My mother enjoyed it immensely and asked me to order more straight away, which I did, along with more for myself. Excellent fruit cake which tastes like homemade!

I can honestly say that I have never had cause to be dissatisfied with either the product or customer support.
